RCR becomes adoption partner at Pet Valu Rochdale

Regina Cat Rescue (RCR) is thrilled to share that we're the official adoption partner at Regina's newest Pet Valu store. That means you can now meet adoptable RCR cats at the Pet Valu location at 4420 Rochdale Blvd as well as our other satellite adoption centres in Regina. For years Pet Valu has supported RCR through food donations, adoption events and fundraising initiatives. We're so pleased they've now included RCR as an adoption partner - another example of their commitment to helping local pets in need. Angel, pictured here, was our first adoptable kitty at Pet Valu and we're so pleased to report that this nine-year-old sweetie has now found her forever home!

Top 5 reasons cats are returned to RCR

Regina Cat Rescue can boast hundreds of successful adoptions a year, but there is a small number of cats that are returned to RCR through no fault of their own. We've compiled a list of the top five reasons that cats are returned to RCR in an effort to educate and improve adoption outcomes for all cats and kittens. Check out the list here.

March's Metro Cat

Thanks to Metro Pet Market for Spaying It Forward! This month, Metro paid for Jasmeena's spay surgery as part of their on-going mission to foster responsible pet guardianship. Jasmeena was dumped on a farm and left to fend for herself in the middle of winter. Thankfully, the farm owners contacted Regina Cat Rescue for help and Jasmeena was taken into foster care. Now she's spayed and ready for her forever home! For more info about Metro Pet Market, please visit their website.
