A weekly update for news and events

Fiat All Class Retreat

Campus Ministry is excited to introduce "Fiat: What's Your Next Yes?," a new all class retreat that invites students to consider the next "yes" in their lives. In Christian tradition, the word "fiat" is associated with the Annunciation when Mary says yes to bearing the Son of God. To make their next yes, students will reflect upon the witness of Notre Dame, Our Mother and her fiat - one that forever changed the course of history. The retreat will be held twice this semester: March 18-20 and April 8-10. Learn more and register here

Student
Blogs

Almost halfway through her spring semester, various routines have either newly developed or fallen out of Katie's life completely as she's adapted to life in a big city. Read about how studying abroad has provided a new, more flexible meaning to the word, "routine" in this week's blog.

This week, Megan discusses her exhaustion and anxiety about not knowing her future. As she waits to learn her fate following graduation, she questions how she will ever be able to surrender to uncertainty. Read more in this week's blog.

LGBTQ Retreat

Life as a LGBTQ student at Notre Dame presents unique challenges and opportunities. The Prism LGBTQ student-organized retreat touches on issues of specific interest to LGBTQ students while building community and new friendships in a faith-filled context. This 6-hour retreat on Saturday, March 19 will allow you to meet new people, reflect on LGBTQ spirituality at Notre Dame and build friendships in an environment that is safe, supportive and accepting of all participants. Learn more and register here.

Micro Retreat Series

Spirituality touches every aspect of our lives, not just when we celebrate Mass or visit the Grotto. The purpose of the micro retreat series is to help students better integrate spirituality into times not designated specifically to prayer. The first session in the spring series will be held on Wednesday, March 16 and will address meditation and journaling. This session is offered at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Students are invited to attend one session in the series or all three. Learn more and register here

Rev. David Scheidler, C.S.C., will preside and preach and the Notre Dame Liturgical Choir will sing. All are invited to attend.
