A Beautiful Evening, a Special Partnership
Pamela Ozery was a skilled and emotive painter. This past Saturday friends, family and Art Starts supporters filled the Petroff Gallery to enjoy an unforgettable evening in celebration of the art and life of Pamela Ozery. Over 70 guests were immersed in Pamela’s deeply resonant paintings, expertly curated by the Petroff Gallery staff. Proceeds from the sale of Pamela’s work will support Art Starts' community-building arts programs.
Throughout her life, Pamela remained tentative about exhibiting publicly. As such, this retrospective exhibit was both emotional and eye opening for many guests. Art Starts’ Executive Director Liz Forsberg was touched, noting, “It was so moving to witness how friends and family responded to these incredible paintings finally being exhibited in an environment befitting the caliber of her work. It felt very special to be a part of this."
Art Starts is honoured to receive such abundant kindness, generosity and support. Our heartfelt thanks to the Petroff Gallery and to the Ozery Family whose spirit of generosity is beyond measure.
