BLAZE II is a pure incarnation of the pleasure of yachting as well as onboard comfort and luxury thanks to which all amateurs of sailing without sacrifice to splendor will delight in this striking commanding construction.

Sunreef 62 BLAZE II is a first-rate construction, launched by the Gdańsk-based Sunreef Yachts shipyard that is simply classical in her design. The semi-custom sailing catamaran was built to cross the deep waters of the world’s oceans in the utmost of comfort and security while representing the features endemic to the Sunreef brand: streamlined hull, remarkable flybridge with high-tech external helm, show-stopping design and great attention to detail.

The sprawling and handsomely appointed teak-sole cockpit with a vast ivory alfresco dining table gives guests an instant warm welcome before they enter the yacht through a stained-glass sliding door. The saloon and galley area equipped with top-notch appliances is a glimpse of the yacht’s chic interior tastefully and luxuriously geared in veneered American Cherry wood. The simplicity and elegance of the interior is enhanced through the presence of plush cream leather upholstery and designer details.

BLAZE II sleeps comfortably up to 8 guests in 4 ensuite cabins that are located below deck. The master cabin boasts a comfortable king-size bed while the rest dispose of double beds making the yacht a wonderful choice for groups of friends chartering together. Each one boasts a private bathroom with separate shower for a luxurious cruise in a relaxed and amicable ambiance.

Luxury charter sailing catamaran BLAZE is impeccably equipped for entertainment and water sports fun with a widescreen LCD TV with Bose home cinema and DVD player while the water toy chest includes a RIB dinghy with 50 hp outboard engine, a 14’ Zodiac dinghy with 25 hp outboard, two kayaks and two paddle boards. With such a thorough choice, it will be extremely hard to make adventure-seeking guests come out of the water!

BLAZE II’s professional and apt crew of 3 will yield to your slightest demand and will show you the ropes of sailing, chat about the next destination, accommodate to your special dietary requirements or suggest the best local spots for unwinding.

Southeast Asia Winter Sailing Destinations

The Gulf coast of Thailand which includes Koh Samui and Koh Phangan has perfect weather from April to October; however most yacht charters focus on the Andaman Sea coast in and around the island of Phuket, where high season runs from November until March.  During the winter months, there are several cruising grounds open to you in Thailand and nearby Malaysia and Burma.  Yachts based in Phuket and/or Langkawi (Malaysia) can easily be delivered to these nearby cruising grounds, and depending on the speed of your yacht, some of the areas below can be combined:

Phuket has a 100 or so islands and inlets that offer a combination of night life and deserted anchorages, all within short sailing distances of Phuket, perfect for a week's cruise that's both cultural and beautiful with its famous limestone finger-like topography, where the James Bond movie 'Man With the Golden Gun' was filmed.  The advantage to this cruising itinerary is that many of the islands do have touristy establishments on them, so you do get a taste of cultural Thailand along with beautiful scenery.

Not far from Phuket, the Nicobar Islands in the Andaman Sea have windswept anchorages, deserted white sand beaches, islands only recently opened to tourism, and coral reefs with manta rays for snorkeling and diving.  Your yacht will be delivered to Port Blair, which may or may not incur a delivery fee, but this cruising ground is rewarding and less touristy than Phuket with its peaceful anchorages and exotic plant and animal wildlife.  The white sand beaches, snorkeling and scuba diving are superb.  Fly into Port Blair with its population of 100,000 from Bangkok, India, or Phuket.

Discover Myanmar (Burma) – the Mergui Archipelago, a brand new frontier for yachting and an incredibly exciting destination of mythical landscapes, ancient treasures, and diverse cultures to discover. The Mergui Archipelago comprises nearly 800 islands in the south west of Myanmar (Burma).  Generally, yachts approach from Thailand - either Phuket or Ranong.  Burma, or Myanmar is a traveler’s dream. Highly recommended to clients looking for water sports and deserted beaches, a true get away from it all in unspoiled surroundings.  The islands are pristine, dramatic, cruising is a breeze with about 2 hours (maximum) between  anchorages. Beaches everywhere, jungle encrusted islands, laden with exotic birds such as hornbills and fish eagles; and home to monkeys and flying foxes.  The only people you see are the local “Moken” tribe of sea gypsy fishermen. The Moken villages are extraordinary. The people are so friendly and welcoming. They never asked for anything, just really friendly. The Mergui Archipelago is truly a beautiful and unspoiled jewel in the Andaman Sea.  Because of the Mergui Archipelago’s remoteness, a charter is the only way for visitors to experience world class dives in areas with names such as Big Bank, Rainbow Reef or Silvertip Bank. Some islands have huge boulders, soft corals and sea fans. Others offer wall diving, caverns, tunnels and drop- offs. A sensory and truly exquisite experience, a Burmese charter is one not soon to be forgotten.

Sitting on the Andaman Sea northwest of the land border between Malaysia and Thailand is the divine archipelago of Langkawi (an island), Malaysia. Many charter yachts base in Langkawi during the winter months. Comprised of a hundred islands and islets to discover during your luxury charter vacation, Langkawi is a wonderful gateway to both neighboring Thailand and Malaysia’s West Coast. Sporting impeccably turquoise waters and a lush tropical vegetation, Langkawi is dotted not only with immaculate beaches but also those rimmed with animated waterfront bars and restaurants. There are also a number of luxury resorts serving up the finest local specialties and offering rejuvenating body treatments and massages.

Johor is the direct border state with Singapore so guests are welcome to choose either a more animated charter vacation close to the city or an immaculate holiday sailing around the state’s untouched islets and coves. Johor’s East Coast is lined with a plethora of sandy stretches of land, including Desaru, a 26 kilometer-long beach and resort strip where kayaking, canoeing, water skiing, swimming, snorkeling or diving will be a true delight.

Southeast Asia Summer Sailing Destinations

When monsoon season starts in Thailand, Myanmar and Malaysia during the summer, many yachts head to Borneo, Palawan, and Raja Ampat to charter these delightful areas during the summer.
