February 2016

Win an Android Nexus Tablet!
Happy Leap Month!  We apologize that the newsletter is one day late this month (even though we did have one extra day to get it out).  Here are the latest developments in the world of Structural Analysis in the Cloud www.cloudcalc.com:
  • The survey should take no more than 10 minutes of your time.  All those who participate in the survey will be entered in a random drawing for the Nexus Tablet to be held on April 27, 2016.
  • Start making plans to visit CloudCalc at the 2016 NASCC Steel Conference, April 13-15 in Orlando, FL.  Visit us in booth 208 and see all that CloudCalc can do.

Attend our Exhibitor Workshop, Thursday, April 14 from 3:00-4:00PM in St. George Room 104, to learn all about: “Structural Analysis in the Cloud”
  • This month CloudCalc surged beyond 2000 registered users.  Thank you to all who have signed up; special thanks go to User vmak9 from Greece who joined us on February 7 as user #2000.  Please help us get to our next milestone -- 2500 -- by telling your friends and colleagues about CloudCalc!
Software Update News:

In February we delivered our 26th update of the software since its initial launch in June, 2014.  Remember – since CloudCalc is delivered on the cloud, you are automatically up to date every time every time you access the software, without having to install anything new.  And our updates are always upward compatible, so you never have to convert old models to run on the latest version of the software.

Version 1.02.06
  • Added support for iPads – until now, CloudCalc had only been supported on Android Tablets
  • CloudCalc – the application that the iPad has been waiting for!
  • Added support for Smart Phones (iPhones and Androids) – now you can carry the power of CloudCalc in your pocket.
