Join us for our March lesson series, now on Wednesday evenings at NYOH's! This month is Balboa Basics, and here's what you get for $45 (general public)/$40 (members/students):
6:30 PM – 7:20 PM : Balboa Basics progressive lesson series with SwingColumbus instructors
7:30 PM - 8:00 PM :East Coast Basics lesson with SwingColumbus instructors - FREE to Monthly Lesson Series attendees!
8:00 PM – 11:00 PM : Social dancing at Swingin' Wednesdays - FREE to Monthly Lesson Series attendees!
Balboa is a vintage swing dance that hails from the 1930s. Balboa is often danced to faster music, and characterized by a close embrace connection - and this is your chance to learn it from scratch! Our talented instructors Lisa Macharoni and Stanley Steers will be starting with the fundamentals and branching out to teach you everything you need to know to get started with this dancer's dance!
Just a few reminders - no experience and no partner are necessary, and you must attend the first lesson to take the series

MARCH CRASH COURSH - THE SHIM SHAM - Wednesday, March 30
One night only! Come join Binaebi Calkins and Lee Conley as they break down the line dance anthem of the swing community!
It started as a tap dance in the 1920s and 30s, and you see its current form every Wednesday - now learn Frankie Manning's classic Shim Sham choreography for yourself! Dance along with friends and gain more confidence in your solo movement.

CBus 11: COLUMBUS LINDY & BLUES EXCHANGE REGISTRATION - Happening now!
Cbus11 will be happening May 20-22, and features 4 different live bands - Naomi & Her Handsome Devils, Gnarly Parkers, Deuce 'n a Quarter, and Dock Adams & Blues Hammer! COLLEGE ID NIGHT IS MOVING
