'BiG MaRY' arrives at the Pearce Institute 
Grand Piano Installation in Govan
This really is a long story . . . . .well over 20 years in the making.
Thanks to Glasgow Museums for renovating the internal action
and generously donating this lovely Grand Piano to our project.
Housed in Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum over 20 years ago 
she is now out of cold storage and back to life for community use. Many thanks to the Pearce Insititue for offering her a new home.

No Booking Required . . . just turn up and play.
This is the first of many LOD's at the Pearce Institute and a chance for people who have received our  free piano tuition to get together and play this lovely Chappell Grand Piano now on stage in Govan.
Her decoration process will start soon ~ on a Mary Barbour theme led by Martha Steed from RCoS Production Arts and Design Dept.

'Ming' on the Viewing Platform at the Lighthouse
'Libby' at the Willow Tea Rooms

Charlie' at the Maklab 

Take the lift up to level 6 at the Lighthouse and enjoy a great view over Glasgow while playing Ming then nip up Sauchiehall Street to the Willow Tea Rooms for a wee scone while you flex your musical muscles on Libby before strolling down to play Charlie in his new home at Maklab offices in Charing Cross.  
the White House Official Opening March 14th
'Sprocket' will be there for the bike breakfast at 10am.
Dr BIke session 7.30-9.30 am with tea and a roll for early risers. Full details of this event  . . . here.
 
Playing it By Ear '
100 Hours of Free Piano Tuition.
Our piano tuition taster sessions have come to an end for now
though we hope to have news of further funding to expand this
initiative and offer more free tuition at: the Unexpected Artist,
Kinning Park Complex, the Glad Cafe and the Pearce Institute.
