New Information
Coonley Online Directory... Please take the survey!
Coonley is considering offering an online Coonley directory next year as a way to build community and allow parents easy communication. The directory would request your child's name, room number, and parent contact information. As we begin this process we would like to gauge interest in this type of shared database. We request that all parents complete this simple one question survey so that we get an accurate picture our community's wishes.

Progress Reports
3rd quarter progress reports will be sent home in the Wednesday Coonley folders on March 16, 2016.

Beta Club Collections
Beta Club is sponsoring two worthy organizations in the months of March and April. The first is a collection for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society from March 14 - April 1, 2016.  The Society is dedicated to the study of leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improving the quality of life for patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services. Each classroom will have a collection box located in the room where students, teachers, and community members can make donations to support this important work.

From March 28 - April 14, Beta Club is collecting gently used pet supplies for the Anti-Cruelty Society. Items can be dropped in the collection boxes in the main hallways on each floor.  Anti-Cruelty will be coming to share their Paw & Order program with the Beta Club and we are hoping to be able to help them check off some items from their wishlist which include the following:
  • New dog toys (hard rubber – especially all size Kong toys)
  • New cat toys (plastic or rubber)
  • Premium brands canned cat and dog food (unopened)
  • Peanut Butter, Leashes, new or used
  • Beef, turkey, or chicken flavored baby food (Please read the ingredients, no onion or garlic should be listed. Currently, Beech Nut stage 1 and Gerber 2nd Foods are good choices.)
  • Fleece fabric to make pet beds (by the yard)
  • New or gently used towels (all sizes)
  • Radio Flyer wagons (for Puppy Parades)
Thank you for helping us "lead by serving others".
