Details about the conference:

Revolutionary Learning 2016 will unite K-12 and Higher Education Professionals, Researchers, Game Developers, Community and Government Leaders, Corporate Training Professionals, and Funders so they may learn from each other by sharing gaming techniques and practices that work. The conference will showcase innovation and present case studies – all in an effort to move education and professionals forward. The conference will also include unique design features to facilitate collaboration and learning.
Revolutionary Learning 2016 will feature hands-on workshops, educational keynotes, and ample networking activities designed to connect attendees with professionals who will inspire. Standing Room Only at our SXSWedu Author Workshop!

The room was filled with an equal number turned away at this bring-your-own-device and do-it-yourself workshop. The guidelines we put in place to help guide those new to the Author tools were completely ignored (much to our delight) as the group leaped in and started making some very creative and interesting game-based learning assessments.
