"Are you watching kids scroll through life, with their rapid-fire thumbs and a six-second attention span? Physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston saw that with her own kids and learned that the average kid spends 6.5 hours a day looking at screens. She wondered about the impact of all this time and about the friction occurring in homes and schools around negotiating screen time—friction she knew all too well."

Michael D'Aleo


Michael has taught and trained teachers of physics for many years at the high school and graduate level. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked for seven years in the electronics industry. Michael lectures internationally on science, education and environmental issues. 

Michael works closely with Tara High School mentoring science teachers, speaking with students and offering community lectures. 

He is author of two books, Sensible Physics Teaching and, most recently, Embracing Materialism and Letting It Go – an experiential guide to overcoming an object-based world conception.  www.sensri.org
