MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICE - Thursday, March 24 at 6:30pm – hosted at the Main Campus, Sanctuary .  (Childcare available for three years old and under)
This will be a special service presented by our guests, Steve and Janie Wertheim from Jews for Jesus.   “God commanded it, Israel celebrated it, Jesus fulfilled it - Christ in the Passover” is a visual teaching message displaying the items used in the Old Testament Passover.  Steve teaches what each item meant historically and spiritually for Israel and then how each item anticipated and found fulfillment in the Perfect Passover Lamb, Jesus, and His atoning death on the cross.  The service will end in observance of the Lord's Supper (communion).  Please join us.

GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE - Friday, March 25 at 6:30pm – hosted at the Bethel Campus (455 Broadmoor Drive, Nashville) Tenebrae service  (Childcare available for three years old and under)
Our Bethel Campus will be hosting our Good Friday service at 6:30pm. Our Celebration Choir and Bethel Choir will combine as we remember and mourn the suffering and death of Christ. This Tenebrae service will represent a journey with Christ to the cross and his final words before death. It is a powerful experience for the community of believers as we walk with eyes open through the grief of Good Friday to fully appreciate and anticipate the ultimate victory of Christ’s resurrection. We hope to worship with you that evening.

Come to Jesus
Sing to Jesus
Fall on Jesus
Cry to Jesus
Dance for Jesus
Fly to Jesus

Words from the powerful song we've experienced here at NFCN, written by David A. Gundersen.  It's been on my mind this week.  And the end of each of those lines, the phrase "...and live!" is added.  Indeed!

As we enter Holy Week on Sunday, preparing again for the cross, let us focus on Jesus.  How we need Him especially at this time in our history! Maybe as never before?  And the good news of this season is HE HAS INDEED COME and is with us.

Hebrews 12:1-2 sets the tone for us as we conclude this holiest of Christian seasons:
Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Indeed.  Come to Jesus - this Holy Week - and LIVE!
