Ministry Update
March 2016

Back from Cambodia!

Special thanks to those who supported us in prayer and finances for this special trip. This was the first time back for Sarah and I together since we left the country over a year ago now. This picture on the left is with some friends of ours we were able to spend two days with them during their wedding. We were invited to stay with the family during that time, and it was a blast! Their wedding was beautiful. We had heard that there are many clothing outfits in Cambodian weddings, but man! Just about every time we saw them they had different traditional outfit on! These two are wonderful friends of ours, and words could not describe how much we love and appreciate their friendship.

Stung Treng

Once we got in country we headed up north to the province of Stung Treng. Before we left, we had planned moving to Stung Treng to work in partnership with a YWAM ministry who has had some great success with raising up Cambodian leaders and reaching an unreached group called the Kavet people in Cambodia. We met with some of the ministry leadership there and reconnected with some of the younger leaders there. There has been a shift in focus recently on discipling the youth. When we move back this is were we desire to serve. Pray for revelation on God's timing on when that will be.

Adventures Siem Reap

Recently there has been some development in Siem Reap Cambodia. A missionary Jordan does member care for who used to live in South Korea recently moved to Siem Reap Cambodia and opened a guesthouse. The purpose of this is to start an Adventures base which will exsist to mobilize more missionaries, American and even Cambodian. This is a recent start-up so we spent some time there connecting with him and checking out the base operations. Right now there is a lot of effort from the the Adventures HQ to recruit and send some people to help him. Please pray for us as we give support and help build a foundation for this to succeed.

Chamreoun

One of the highlights from this trip was to see how God has used our friend Chamreoun. Chamreoun and Jordan have been friends for the last couple years now. It was great to reconnect in person instead of through Facebook. We had no idea how much God was using him in helping establish the Adventures base. Chamreoun grew up in rural Cambodia with his family. Look for a blog post about his story soon on our blog. God has taken Chamreoun on an incredible journey, and we am proud to call him our brother. Chamreoun has been saying yes to God, and Chamreoun's dream to open up drug rehab centers around Cambodia is starting to come to fruition. Pray for Camreoun for favor in leadership and finances to be able to do this
