Dear Friends,

The spring sun is warming, and I am emerging from winter hibernation, intensified this year by a knee replacement in January. All goes well in my recovery, and I am preparing for two events next week to promote Never Again.

On Monday March 14, at 9:30 a.m., I’ll be giving a reading and leading a discussion at the Longmont Senior Center, 910 Long’s Peak Drive in Longmont.

The next day, March 15, I’ll be  reading and leading a discussion at 11 a.m. at the Boulder YMCA, 2850 Mapleton Ave. I’ll be donating ten copies of Never Again to the Y, and the sales of those copies will support programs at the Y.

In both cases, I’ll be telling Clara’s story up to the point when she learns she could choose between staying in her young body and living another whole lifetime, or returning to her old body. Then I will initiate a discussion with the question, “If you had Clara’s choice, what would you do?” I did this format last December at Local Editions, and it was very interesting what people had to say.

You are all invited. I would love to see some friends at either event.

I have decided, after working on The Purest Gold for six and a half years, that it is time to get it out. I have hired Sue Ring deRosset to do a final edit for me, am meeting with Ann Erwin to discuss layout and design, and am reading up on how to promote a novel before it comes out. My artist partner Clay Elliott is working on a painting for the cover. If all goes well I hope to have The Purest Gold out in 2016.

In my blog I am doing a series on the relationship of art, healing and Spirit.

I thank you for your interest in my literary endeavors, and hope to see some of you at my events next week. I send you greetings with the warmth of spring sunshine.
