Linton Free Church - Whats on this Week?

Here is another edition of our weekly 'Whats On' email. If you would like anything included in future emails, please email Al Wood at al@alandang.com.

As well as the usual activities (see prayer meetings and house group details further down this email) we have the following additional activities and notices:

  • 'Friday Club' Youth Group Quiz Night - yes, its back again this week with a Quiz Night! Join Alasdair and Debbie for an evening of fun and games. The event starts at 7pm and finishes at 8:30pm.
  • Men's Meal - Do join the men for an evening of reflection, drinks and food! The evening kicks off at 7:30pm with food due around 8:30pm.
Next Sunday (13th March, 10:30am) Chris will be bringing God's word to us and Janet is duty elder.

Men's Meal* - Friday 11th March

Due to the generous hospitality of the Pearsons (again), we can confirm that the next Men's Meal will take place this Friday 11 March. We will meet at 7.30 p.m. for reflection and prayer (and drinks) followed by dining at about 8.30 p.m. This promises to be another wonderful and memorable evening in each other's company held together by that crucial mixture of faith and food (with a little drink). All men associated with the Church are very welcome. Please let Steve Munday know on Munday5@aol.com if you can attend. That will help with Linda's catering.
* Sausages not guaranteed.

Can you help with the baptism service?

We are delighted that we have a Baptism to look forward to on Sunday 17th. April. It will require a work group to set up the baptistery in the Hall at 11am. on Saturday 16th. April. It should take less than an hour, depending on how many turn up.

If you are available to assist please contact John Pearson. No experience is necessary and it would be good to share the expertise and pool our knowledge.

'Friday Club' Youth Group

Our new youth group launches returns this Friday at 7pm with a Quiz Night. If you know anyone that would be interested in coming along (either as a youth or a leader) then please contact Alasdair, or just turn up on the night. For more information and a schedule of future events see www.lintonfreechurch.org.uk/youth.
