Aging Missionaries
My dad's seminary alumni and many of their wives, 27 total, visited Chonburi Center from Korea. My family and I joined them for a dinner in show of support for my parents, and they loved it. My dad has no plans to retire, typical of old Korean pastors. I've been asking him about his plans for the last 20 years, but I can't force him, just like I don't force my own children to do what I think is best. Now pray with me as I realize I myself don't have concrete retirement plans, even as I approach the age my dad was when I started bugging him about it!
this is my first "frequent update." a missionary friend gave me this idea while i was sharing how i dreaded writing long overdue, official newsletters. my close friends know how i can ramble on, so it's hard to write meaningfully. this is a shorter and separate email list from my official newsletter, so please feel free to unsubscribe; you'll still get my less frequent newsletter updates. if you just found out about this from a friend or your spouse, please feel free to subscribe.
