Student Affairs News - March 2016
image: Cathy ScroggsAwards season is coming up. Now is the time to nominate staff, faculty and advisers and students for recognition. We have many remarkable, yet unrecognized staff working on the front lines and behind the scenes to serve students. Please take the time to nominate a colleague for a STAR Award.

As Interim Chancellor Foley indicated in his message, these are challenging times, but the university has faced greater challenges in our history and has prevailed. Every challenge brings new opportunities. The leadership of the division has already begun developing strategies that can take us through this difficult time. It will take all of us working together to build on our strengths and move us forward.

Each person’s role in our division is critical. You make Mizzou a great place for our students to learn, study, eat, live and play. Thank you for putting students first. Thank you for supporting each other in our work. Thank you for your service.

Cathy Scroggs, PhD
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
