Team PRP Welcomes Newest Addition to National Network of Automotive Recyclers
Denver, CO, March 8, 2016 — Team PRP’s nationwide network of professional automotive recyclers has announced their newest member, Cornell’s Used Auto Parts, LLC, located in Greenfield Center, NY.
Founded in 1972 by Duane Cornell, the family-owned, second-generation business is headed by Duane’s son Casey Cornell and Casey’s wife Isabelle. The facility primarily services late model vehicles, delivering daily to the Capital Region, Upstate New York area, and surrounding areas.
“We seem to be in a industry where all the owners I meet can remember The Beatles coming to America,†quipped Ron Wilbert, Past President/Acting Director of Team PRP-NE and owner of Wilbert’s Incorporated in Webster, NY. “But the owners of Cornell's, Casey and Isabelle, came along long after that. It's so exciting to see such young energetic owners full of passion for the business. They have accomplished much, almost starting with nothing, and they are dreaming big. The boost in commerce that Team PRP has provided is just the kick they needed to put their plan into high gear. I feel like they are already an integral part of our Northeast Team PRP family in the short time they've been aboard.â€
Within a few weeks of becoming an official Team PRP member, Cornell’s sales increased dramatically, as well as their brokered parts. The operation went from being open about nine hours per day, to an operation that is working approximately 20 hours per day. The teamwork demonstrated by the employees has been exceptional. While continuing to learn the Team PRP processes, and handle unexpected predicaments as a business, they are confident this will be life changing.
