Workout. Anywhere.

Join Brittany Jaeger and myself in celebrating the Spring Equinox on Sunday, March 20th at 5:30pm in Civic plaza.
108 sun salutations is a powerful experience that will stretch you and leave your yoga practice changed. Along with being an incredible way to detox, physically and mentally, it is a memorable gesture to mark the end of winter and the beginning of spring.
As the spring air brings new beginnings and new blooms, we will do 36 sun salutations to honor the past, 36 to be completely present and 36 to look forward to the future with hope and joy. This is a practice dating back to Vedic times that is thought to provide both spiritual and physical cleansing during the change of seasons.

You are welcome to do as many or a few sun salutations as you wish - just come join us to celebrate the amazing community we live in and the change of the season and well as changes within. This dynamic practice is moderately to strongly paced but can be modified for all levels of practitioners.
Wear something comfy and bring a mat. We look forward to celebrating with you.

Our workouts this week will again challenge your body and mind.

No Tuesday night stair workout this week, but we will get back to it soon, especially since it is light later and the weather has been beautiful.

Yoga workshop on Wednesday evening! See you at 212 Tulane at 6:30pm.

Start your day off right by joining me at The Remedy Day Spa for a dynamic vinyassa flow class on Monday and Wednesday at 6:30am.

Sunday. March 20th at 5:30pm 108 Sun Salutations in Civic Plaza.

Remember, if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you!

All the Best,

Maya

Wellness is wholeness - we are complete when our mind, body and spirit connect deeply with the earth's abundance.
What we eat fuels not only our workouts, but our lives.

I made this lasagna over the weekend to freeze and take with me to monument valley for my race this week. It turned out so good, I had to share it with you. I added veggies including zucchini, kale, Swiss chard and mushrooms as well as a little fresh pesto. I also used regular lasagna noodles and added a bit of Parmesan cheese, it was a perfect addition.
Hope you enjoy it and I'll let you know if it turns out to be a good pre-race meal. I think it will!
