Submissions are accepted in 5 strands:

1. E-beam/X-ray technologies:

The papers presented in the strand E-beam/X-ray strand will report on new developments which require the industrialization of advanced solutions, like superconducting RF cavities, magnets, and other accelerator components, plus the next level of efficiency in x-ray target design.

2. Gamma technologies:
Gamma Technology sessions will present updates on issues of transportation, licensing and disposal as well as address industry concerns around radiological security.  Sessions will also focus on new equipment and process design as well as advances in modelling and dosimetry.

3. Healthcare applications:
Through the rare opportunity to assemble professional microbiologists, materials experts, regulators, radiation equipment manufacturers, physicists, expert consultants, and industry Standard authors; this IMRP desires to share many years of experience in the radiation processing industry directly with our manufacturing partners.

4. Advanced materials applications:
This strand will mainly focus on medical applications including nanobio technology, drug delivery systems with nano gels, joint implants, tissue engineering with radiation to synthesize polymeric scaffold materials, use of antioxidants in the manufacturing process, stent technology and irradiation of blood separating gel. Abstracts may also be submitted for non-medical applications such as fuel cells.

5. Other applications:
This strand will include updates and new information on the use of irradiation for food processing, phytosanitary applications, and emerging irradiation applications. The latest irradiation issues will be discussed, and new applications for radiation will be explored in other areas including its updated use in municipal wastewater treatment and cultural heritage applications.
