 Steve Sheinkin
Steve Sheinkin’s books have won numerous awards, including a Newbery Honor, the Siebert Medal, and the YALSA Award for Excellence in Nonfiction for Young Adults. His newest title, Most Dangerous, is a finalist for the 2015 National Book Award.
A former textbook writer, Steve is now making amends by writing history books and producing cartoon strips kids and teens actually want to read. Recent titles include Bomb, The Port Chicago 50, The Notorious Benedict Arnold, Lincoln's Grave Robber. Candace Fleming is the prolific and versatile author of more than thirty books for children. Her nonfiction titles include The Lincolns: A Scrapbook Look At Abraham and Mary which won the 2009 Boston Globe-Horn Book award for Nonfiction; The Great and Only Barnum: the Tremendous, Stupendous Life of Showman P.T.
