Below is one of my favourite pictures to help explain just how small acupuncture needles are. This is a photo of
20 acupuncture needles that have been inserted inside the head of a regular hypodermic needle. If you closed your eyes during acupuncture, you probably wouldn't even know I had inserted a needle into you. If you are nervous to try acupuncture, I offer a free consultation. I can show you how I insert a needle by inserting one into myself or into you. If you don't like it; no worries, just go on with your day. If you feel like you would like to try more, we can schedule your first appointment from there.
You should also know that acupuncturists use other methods besides needles to help you feel better. We can use
cupping therapy, acupressure and massage as well. I find I often combine therapies. Especially for those who don't like it when I use a lot of needles or who don't like being needled on certain parts of their body.
Reiki Classes
As you may know, I was raised on a farm, and one thing you learn when you are raised on a farm is that you have to make hay while the sun shines! In 2016 the sun seems to be shining on Reiki classes! Once again I have added more Reiki classes to my schedule. I have an additional
level 1 Reiki class for April 9th, and a
Reiki Master Practitioner class for April 30th. In case you are wondering what a Reiki Master Practitioner class is; it is an optional level of Reiki that was created for those who wanted to advance beyond level 2, but don't feel they want to teach Reiki, or perhaps they do not feel ready to take the Master level. Regular Services
My hours have altered slightly due to changes in our family schedule. My availability can be a little changeable, but I aim to keep my office hours somewhere in the following range:
Tues to Thurs. 11 to 7pm (last appointment at 6pm)
Fri. 11 to 5pm. (last appointment at 4pm)

website here. My schedule fills up quickly, so you may wish to contact me at least
2 weeks ahead to get an appointment, especially if you want to come in after 5pm. If you are in urgent need of pain relief, please mention this when you contact me, so I can try to fit you in as soon as possible.
