Today, Intercept reporters Matthew Cole and Jeremy Scahill report that mercenary entrepreneur Erik Prince is under investigation by multiple federal agencies, which are probing his alleged links to Chinese intelligence, possible money laundering, and his peddling of paramilitary services to foreign governments. For more than a year, Prince has been the target of a federal surveillance operation.
The exclusive report is based on documents obtained by The Intercept as well as interviews with several of Prince’s current and former business partners and former U.S. intelligence officials.
