Victorian U13 Boys shine in Tasmania
Each year Football Federation Tasmania host a number of State teams from across the country to participate in a festival involving six games per team across three days.
As part of the Victorian U13 Boys State Team program, the squad travelled to Devonport giving them a valuable opportunity to develop their playing style and team cohesion.
Head Coach Anthony Frost was pleased with the squads progression stating: “The group responded well over the course of the event with strong individual and collective performances. We’re confident that the festival has provided us with a really good platform to help us continue our development over the course of the year, with any opportunity to play against good teams in our age group seen as a positive one.” |

Boys FC a big hit
Boys FC, proudly presented by ElectricityWizard, took place over March 20-21.
78 teams with more than 750 players played in more than 200 fixtures across the two days, which served as good preparation for the season ahead.
There were also 15 new referees, while more than 150 assessments were conducted for all officials at the tournament.
FFV would acknowledge ElectricityWizard and the City of Bendigo for their support, which allowed for a smoothly-run event. |
