Thank you for your dedication and work during the 2016 Cookie Program. Your efforts are truly giving girls a life-changing experience!
We know that using Snap+ was especially frustrating for many, making your jobs that much harder. As you know, ABC Bakers has reached out to councils with a donation of $10,000, specifically as gesture of thanks for the patience that GSGI volunteers showed while dealing with Snap+ technical issues.
We heard your response to this gesture, and agree that the money should be invested back into our volunteers. We are currently finalizing the details of our plan and will let you know next week how that money will be used.

All Transfers Must Be Completed in Snap+ by March 27
Reminder: All Transfers and Troop Recognition Orders must be completed in Snap+ by 11:59p.m.! If your troop is opting out of recognition items for more troop proceeds, please note that you still need to enter a Recognition Order.
Note: If you're getting an error message that you cannot submit an order, try looking under "View Recognition Orders" instead of creating one.
A note about troop proceeds:
- If your troop reaches the per-girl-average levels of 185 or 250, Snap+ will automatically reflect your increased troop proceeds.
- If your troop increases their total sales by 1%, 2%, or 3% over last year's sales, the increased troop proceeds are not automatically reflected in Snap+. The council will manually change this in Snap+ next week before the ACH email goes out.

Wrapping Up Program Promotions
Here’s what you need to know to wrap up the various cookie promotions for this year:
Buy 5 and Win
If you collected any Buy 5 and Win entries from your customers who purchased 5 packages of cookies, be sure to return the entry forms to your local Leadership Center by March 31. Winners will be notified in April.
Mix It Up: Girl Scout Cookie Challenge
The entry period for our cooking contest has ended, but voting is open now through April 3! Vote for the tastiest-looking treats here on our Facebook page – the top 5 bakers' treats will be replicated by our recipe testers, and our three winners will then be selected by April 29.

Final ACH Sweep: April 5
The final ACH sweep, which will sweep the remaining balance due to the council for all cookies received during the 2016 Cookie Program, will take place on April 5. You will receive an ACH confirmation email on March 29. If you don’t receive the email by 8a.m. that day, contact info@gsiowa.org with the subject line “Missing ACH Email†for quicker processing.
If your troop needs to adjust your final ACH withdrawal amount, be sure to submit an ACH Adjustment Form by 5p.m. on March 31. Any forms received after this date will not be processed in time to change the sweep.
If you need to submit any Girl Shortage Forms for families with outstanding debt, be sure to do so by April 3.
