Manage Your Research Data with REDCap™

Looking for an online solution to track the progress of your study, or send a survey to research participants? Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) is a free, HIPAA-compliant, web-based software application for electronic collection and management of study data. REDCap is available to researchers and study team members at all Tufts CTSI partner institutions. Need an account? Please complete our request form and be sure to select REDCap Database Account.

Already familiar with REDCap? Here are our latest tips:
  • REDCap Tip #3: You can use the logging tool to troubleshoot issues that arise due to a change in data value, calculations and branching logic that are no longer working, etc. In the log, filter by record, user, and event type.

  • REDCap Tip #4: Use conditional logic in your database by using an "if/then" statement in calculated fields.
Ready to get started? Log into REDCap here.
