WetaFest 2016 - A World Masters Games Warm Up, NZ
With just over one year to go until the World Masters Games, Weta sailors have had their first regatta using the WMG format of sprint and destination races. The Torbay Sailing Club have also started their preparation by embarking on building a magnificent new club house to host the event.Torbay certainly know how to run regattas with their highly successful Sir Peter Blake Regatta. Last weekend 30 Weta sailors had a weekend of coaching and racing in perfect sailing conditions.

Le projet de faire naviguer des handicapés sur un support facile, livrant des sensations, sécurisant et permettant aussi la confrontation dans la version sportive, a fait un grand pas en avant vendredi 4 mars. Avec l’essai du Weta, la sortie a été concluante. Un solide vent de 20 à 25 nœuds était le bienvenu pour pousser dans ses retranchements ce trimaran véloce.

Long Weta Weekend at Lake Brunner, NZ
Four Wetas sprung onto Lake Brunner this long weekend for a chance of racing in New Zealand's South Island. Two came from Timaru - Simon and Gordon, while Roelant and myself came from Christchurch. Roelant had never raced before and joined in for a couple of races which was great.
