The EGDF Annual General Meeting will be held on 14 April 2016 at the Brdo Hotel in Slovenia at 13:45. All delegates attending the conference are invited to the meeting, however only one representative from each paid up member organisation is entitled to vote. Member organisations not attending the conference are entitled to a proxy vote. The following documents can be downloaded here:
Nomination forms must be returned by email to the Company Secretary by Tuesday, 29 March.
Proxy forms will then be sent to you on Thursday 31 March to be completed and returned to the Company Secretary by Friday, 8 April.
Any other business for the agenda should also be notified by Friday, 8 April.
Last Chance to Book Slovenia Conference Hotel for 14-16 April
The Brdo Hotel have agreed to hold five extra rooms for conference delegates until this Monday, 21 March. If you would like to attend but have not yet registered, there is still time. Registrations later than that are subject to room availability.
Slovenian President welcomes EGDF delegates
Our Slovenian hosts, SLO-Canis, are delighted that the President of Slovenia Mr Borut Pahor has accepted to be honorary patron of the conference. The message in his letter translates as:
"On behalf of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr Borut Pahor, thank you for our letter in which you ask for him to be the honorary patron of the international conference of the European Guide Dog Federation which will be held between 14th and 16th April 2016 at Brdo near Kranju.
I am delighted to inform you that the President of the Republic gladly accepts this honorary patronage.
On behalf of the President of the Republic I wish you a successful conference and a warm welcome in Slovenia."
