Baseball for All at AIPAC
Fadi Abu Swees and Niv Eitan never thought that learning baseball would put them in front of an audience of thousands. But these two sixth-graders from Israel weren't in a baseball stadium. They were speaking at the Verizon Center in Washington DC, in front of 18,000 delegates at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee conference last Monday.
The boys, along with Peter Kurz and Nate Fish of the Israel Association of Baseball (IAB), were on stage to present a film about Baseball Le'Kulam, or Baseball for All. This program - a partnership between Play Global and IAB - brings Arab Israeli and Jewish Israeli kids together through baseball. Click on the image below to watch this short and inspirational film.
Baseball for All 2016 leads off on May 5th-6th.
