This brief eNewsletter provides the most recent updates for
the Hudson City School District Capital Project. It will be released roughly every two weeks, although this is dependent on new information becoming available.

Capital Project Update

March 20, 2016



Recent News

  • Preparations are being made to move Grade 6 from M.C. Smith Intermediate School to the Junior High School for the start of the 2016-17 school year (September 2016)
  • Meetings with administrators and teachers are ongoing (as related to the first stage of the project, the Grade 6 move)
  • A committee meeting is planned for the week of March 21st to discuss improvement measures for the storm water runoff at the MCSIS site
  • Grades 3 & 4 will be relocated within MCSIS (during Summer 2016) so that renovations can begin for the Grade 2 wing
  • The District will be working with the City of Hudson to conduct traffic studies at the High School and MCSIS campuses (between now and June)
  • Meetings are being scheduled for all stakeholders for input in the design features (specific dates and times still to be announced)
