Summer Camp and Leaders in Training Registration is almost here!

Register your child(ren) for camp with the Grange Hill East Neighbourhood Group.
Join us for a fun themed week of activities including making new friends, arts & crafts, games, outside time, and healthy snacks!  

 
When: July 4 - August 12, 2016
Who: Campers ages 4-11, Jr LITs age 12, LITs ages 13+
Times: 9am-4pm daily with before care (8-9am) & after care (4-5pm) available.
Where: Community Room - Right side of Ken Danby PS (525 Grange Road) 
Cost (cash or cheque only)...
Campers: $100/week + optional before/after care for $5 each.
Leaders in Training: $30/week

First come first served at the Grange Hill East Community Room at 525 Grange Road (Right side of Ken Danby PS). 
*Registration is now open for GHENG volunteers.

Clean & Green Community Cleanup! 

Join your neighbourhood group to celebrate Earth Day by participating in the City of Guelph Cleanup! 
When? Saturday, April 23rd 
8:30am:
Meet at 525 Grange Rd. Community Room
9-11:30am: Cleanup the neighbourhood! 
12pm: Celebration BBQ Lunch at Riverside Park

*We've signed up for three locations:
Peter Misersky Park & Grange to Starwood & Watson from Eastview to Starwood.

May Youth Dance: Save the Date! 

When: May 18th, 2016 - 6:30pm-8:30pm
Who: Youth ages 9-13
Where: Community Room & Gym (525 Grange Rd) 
Cost: $5 /person, snacks available for purchase.

We're excited to announce that in response to hearing a need for more preschool programs, we've partnered with the Guelph YMCA to add two more programs to our preschool schedule! 
1) Preschool Creative Drop-In
When: Wednesdays 9am-10:30am
Where: Community Rm (525 Grange)
Who: *Open to caregivers, parents, guardians & preschoolers!
2) Preschool Creative Parent Drop-In
When: Thursdays 2pm-3:30pm
Where: Community Rm (394 Auden)
Who: *Open to parents, guardians & preschoolers!
More about Preschool Creative Drop-In: 
Creative Play program allows children to participate in discovery, active and creative play through a variety of activities. They will be able to explore through instruments, dance, movement and arts and crafts. Participants will have fun through age appropriate games, dress up, active games, art and music.

If you are, our events or fundraising committees may be the place for you! Help us organize fun events & raise the funds that help to make what we do possible. *No experience necessary!*

Passionate about food security?

A number of individuals and families in our neighbourhood depend on our emergency food cupboard to eat. We're looking for volunteers to cover a shift/month and help with the planning of our upcoming neighbourhood food drive. Will you help?
