March 2016

March has been a busy month for us. We have exhibited with Business against Poverty at 3 business expos, we have taken part in the National Apprenticeship week through being part of the #PassTheTorch campaign, as well as celebrating our amazing Bath Half Team completing the 13.1 mile route and to top it all off the end of the month sees myself and Bill fly over to Romania, firstly for our yearly planning and strategy week and then for my Spring Awareness Trip team who are meeting me out there to see first hand the work that the project is doing.

With so much going on it would be easy to become tired, but we have found a great energy with all of these events, from celebrating the new skills and confidence that are growing in our Apprentice Sophie on a daily basis, to watching in awe as our fundraisers arrived back after completing the Bath Half. What will really top it off for me will be my trip to Romania, spending some quality time with the team to evaluate what is working and plan for the future. To see how the project is evolving and growing to help more and more families living in poverty is truly an energising experience - one that I cannot wait to share with my Awareness Trip group that will join me out there and of course with all of you when I get back.
