Keeping up with CHF

Spring 2016
Stepping Stone Manor

Stepping Stone Manor is the first ‘purpose-built’ apartment building to be completed as part of CHF’s goal to build 8 – 10 permanent supportive housing apartment buildings through the RESOLVE Campaign. A first of its kind in Canada, RESOLVE is comprised of nine not-for-profit agencies who have joined forces to raise $120 million to create homes for 3,000 vulnerable Calgarians. You can read more about Stepping Stone Manor - an amazing example of courageous collaboration on our blog.

Coldest Night of the Year 2016

CHF would like to send a warm Thank You to all friends and supporters of the Coldest Night of the Year 2016. #CNOYyyc raised more than $128,000 for Feed the Hungry, the Mustard Seed and Acadia Place. Acadia Place is owned by CHF and operated under contract by CUPS. The building has 57 units housing a blend of single adults, couples and families who were experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Enhancing our Board

CHF is pleased to welcome Dr. David Ross, Jeff Boyd and Brian Pincott to its Board of Directors. These individuals bring catalytic leadership and understanding of not-for-profit governance, the value of public/private partnerships and a keen desire to give back to their community. You can read more about the new members here.

Thank you!

Thank you to NGX, Genesis Home Builders, Grey Matter and Tenaquip for your generous donations - we are so appreciative!
