Hey all you busy bees!
Is everyone clocking your students' reading minutes?  It's going to be a tight race to read the most, I've noticed kids walking with open books in hand, chilling at recess with their fave tomes... Be sure to keep an accurate tally, the class prize is a good one!

This warm weather has kicked Spring Fling planning into high gear. Please, PLEASE start getting your Auction donations together.  Have a business you'd like to advertise?  Do you make cool art or delish dishes?  Can you teach an instrument, or how to sew, or how to do skateboard tricks?  Does your band want to play a gig?  We would love to use the auction to showcase our community's diverse talents and creativity!  If you're unsure of how to go about donating, shoot PTSO an email and we will be in touch.

Speaking of donating, we can still use fabric and bottle caps/lids for the last week of our Festifools enrichment, if you have any please drop them off in room 6.  Also, with MIRM festivities, we are having a bake sale on March 31 to coincide with the end of day Drop Everything and Read and prize announcements.  Please let us know what you can bring! (PS, the Smencils will be back out that day too.)

Let Katrina at the front desk know the number of plants you brought. Take the plants to the GEO Ed room (Room 16) to be placed in areas around the school where they are needed. We will be tracking our progress in the great room.
