The Landscape, Interpreted
50 Landscapes by 16 Artists in One Exciting Exhibition

Clifton Springs, NY – The beginning of spring is a time when we all start to think about being outside again. It is a time to reconnect to the great outdoors by working in the garden or hiking a local trail. It is also a time when we take special notice of the beauty of our local surroundings. The exhibition Fifty Landscapes celebrates this notion by presenting 50 landscapes by 16 artists, each with their own unique vision and voice. Artwork presented in this exhibition ranges from the abstract to the literal and many places in between. Through painting, photography, mixed media pieces, and printmaking; the exhibition explores landscapes that are local, foreign, and imagined.

Artists included: Pat Bacon, Carl Chiarenza, Victoria Connors, Phyllis Bryce Ely, Paul Garland, Lana Grauer, Chad Grohman, Meredith Mallwitz, Rick Muto, Terry Oakden, Sewall Oertling, Lanna Pejovic, Dennis Revitsky, Kari Ganoung Ruiz, Rob Weaver, and Barbara J. Zucker.

The press and public are invited to attend the opening reception on Saturday, April 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. Main Street Arts is open to the public and as always, entry is free. Wine and snacks will be served at the opening reception on April 2.
