World-famous yogi Kino MacGregor visits Atmosphere
When we found out that world-renowned yogi Kino MacGregor and her equally famous husband Tim Feldmann were coming to Manila to hold a yoga workshop, we were very excited to host them for a holiday in Atmosphere. Together they run Miami Life Center and when they don’t spend time in Florida, they travel the world to share their knowledge and passion with yogis everywhere. During her time here, Kino recorded a few movies and let us take up some of her time with photo shoots – and Tim graciously held a yoga class for a few staff members. Click here to watch movies. of Kino and here to read about their work at Miami Life Center.

Dive center News
New Expanded Camera room
With so many underwater photographers coming to Atmosphere to shoot our famous critters, we needed to expand our space for them and their cameras. Our already excellent camera room with air guns, personal lights, 110 and 220 volt charging stations for each diver had to become bigger. Said and done, we have now expanded and comfortably fit 15-20 photographers, each with their own personal workspace and storage boxes.

Classes are held on the treetop platform overlooking the sea and with a nice breeze to cool you off. Everyone is welcome – classes are good for all levels and intensity will be based upon fitness and experience. Classes include body conditioning resistance training, weight training and high intensity aerobics to build strength and muscle toning.

Marinelife
Frogfish February delivers big time!
As most of our diving guests know, February and March are intense months for Frogfish lovers with more species and sightings than most of us can imagine. Our marine biologist Daniel has been very busy teaching his PADI Frogfish Specialist course and we are proud to say that on one course dive in March, Daniel and his students saw 10 different frogfish species in one day! Not ten frogfish - ten species!
Two of the highlights were a juvenile hispid frogfish, a rosy frogfish and the first sargassum fish in a year, a smaller than 1 cm juvenile.

Please Behave! We are passionate about our underwater environment
At Atmosphere, we believe that preserving the environment is more important than getting "that amazing photo" or holding on in a current. Our Diving Etiquette Movie shows some great examples of what to do and not do at Atmosphere Resorts.
There are a lot of critters hiding in the sand and a lot of fragile corals here in Dauin. Be careful around them, be respectful of animals and other divers on your dives. Don't touch, don't move but keep taking amazing natural photos of our critters.

Photographer of the Month
Dauin, Apo island and Oslob underwater – by Carolyn Davies
We have had quite a few underwater photographer groups the first few weeks of 2016 and we have seen some stunning photos of Dauin’s critters on the LCD screens of our guests’ cameras. One of those guests is Carolyn Davies, who came to Atmosphere with a group from Blue Water Dive Travel in March. She has some killer shots and we wanted to give you the chance to see some of them!
