Volunteer Corner

Volunteers are extremely important to Better Days!  If you are interested in helping Better Days by providing support for resident care, facilities maintenance, our thrift stores or fundraising, please visit the volunteer section of the website.

This month may start with April Fool's Day ... but we ain't fooling around!  Meet June, a dedicated volunteer at our Chambersburg Thrift Store!  

June has been volunteering almost every day for the last several years, chances are you have seen her there!  It's no joke, she can (and will) do anything and everything to keep the store looking neat and clean or assisting our shoppers to find that perfect item. June meticulously sorts all the many wonderful donations and gets them ready for the great displays around the store. She is always very courteous to our customers, and her sweet smile will always make you smile too. June has also volunteered her "day off" at fundraising events and can make one mean walking taco!  Please stop in to the BDAL Chambersburg Thrift Store and say hello ... and if you're thinking about volunteering, ask June what it means to her ... please consider volunteering at the thrift store, the shelter, or a fundraising event.  BDAL thanks June for her years of dedicated and dependable volunteer service to benefit our many furry friends at Better Days!
