4 Years of Stilt Shenanigans In The Making....

A Theatrical Stilt Dance & Acrobatic Spectacle


This past December we celebrated our four year anniversary! It means the world to our crew that we can hold space in downtown Tucson's resurgence as part of the artist culture. Thank you for supporting our dream to create and share our gifts.

This April 15th & 16th, Cirque Roots starts a new chapter of stilt dance and acrobatics in an all female production. Inspired by the idea "We are the light we see in others." Spectrum is a heart-opening performance piece that aims to build and empower the community with a universal message of positivity and hope.

With use of modern stilt dance, partner acrobatics, and original choreography we've created a 40 minute show with influences of ritual dance, acro yoga, and improvisational dance techniques.

It wouldn't be a Cirque Roots' production without an original soundtrack by Tucson music producers Jyshua Pcalyps and Ian Browning! Plus, live music from Vasanta Weiss on vocals and harmonium.

We will be holding these shows at Cirque Roots' Studio in an intimate 30 person setting. Make sure to reserve your tickets today for $20 each online. OR, purchase your tickets at our studio for $15 each (cash only)! The studio is open for ticket sales during any of the Open Studio Jams: 

  • MONDAYS  8:30 – 10:30pm
  • TUESDAYS  7 – 9pm
  • WEDNESDAYS  9 – 11pm
  • FRIDAYS  9 – 11am
  • SUNDAYS  1 – 3pm
