The surprising life of baby fish.  Marine fish begin as eggs. Once the eggs hatch, the larvae are entirely on their own, with no parental care or training. See more
 

The benefits of swimming in a school.  Group-living produces a calming effect. Fish from schools exhibit quicker reaction times and faster propulsion away from threats.  Fish held in isolation exhibit an energy cost.  See more
