MARCH 2016

As we press on with learning language, sharing Christ, building relationships and serving at our Church in Geneva, occasionally there is a memorable divine moment when the Lord brings an open heart our way. As we walked in our neighborhood with the boys, we met an elderly woman named Odette walking her dog.
She was thrilled to meet our family since she is a believer, but her husband Antoine is not. In fact his heart is very hard and he won’t allow her to speak about Christ or her faith. We prayed with her that day and encouraged her with the Word. Please pray with us for her husband’s salvation.
New friendships and opportunities to practice our French!
It has been over a month since we last saw our neighbor, Yveline. She was taken by ambulance late one evening and we haven't heard how or where she is. Please pray for her to return soon and that she will remember the truths of God's word that she heard from us. 
Isaiah and Jeremiah are two biblical prophets that really stand out as I think of our time here in Europe since we arrived about 11 months ago. They never saw instant, dramatic, positive results in their time. They had to be patient and faithful to press on while sharing the precious words of God with people with hard hearts who would not listen. Isaiah and Jeremiah submitted to God’s sovereignly designed timetable, and not their own.
Many things do not work as quickly as we would desire here on the mission field. We have been sick numerous times, swimming in French administrative paperwork and busy attempting to connect with people in need of Christ cross culturally while learning the French language.  We praise God that our challenges are minor in light of an eternity and we are so thankful to be here!  Each day we need to do what we can in order to check off our to do list and most importantly ask the question, “Were we faithful to God today in our missionary endeavors and walk with HIM?” We will never achieve godly results in our timing. Godly results come in God’s timing through His servants pressing on in prayer, patience and faithfulness. Thank you for your perseverance and faithfulness while partnering with us to reach people in great need of Christ.

  • Italian Citizenship and registration for Julia, Elijah, William, & Wesley - that the papers will not be lost in the process.
  • For God to prepare the hearts of those with whom we will come in contact.
  • A close walk with God for our family.
