Epping Forest Community Transport launches two new routes

Two new services are being introduced by Epping Forest Community Transport, with routes being launched between Dobbs Weir and Epping and Churchgate Street and Harlow town centre.

Some slight changes have been made to existing services with the new timetables operating from Monday, April 11.

Epping Forest Community Transport co-ordinator Angela Canham said: "The team and I are delighted to provide Shopper buses giving access to essential services and enabling independence.

Passengers do not need to be a member of Community Transport to use the shopper bus services which are available for anyone to use.

Fares are £3.50 for a single journey (£5 for a return journey). Children aged five-16 travel half price (under-fives free).      
                  
Concessionary passes must be shown to receive free transport.

NEW SERVICE - FROM APRIL 11 - MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY ONLY - HSB01 - Churchgate Street to Harlow Bus Station. Leaves Churchgate Street at 9.25am, 10.25am, 12.55pm and 1.55pm with a return service from Harlow Bus Station leaving at 10am, 1pm, 1.30pm and 4.30pm.

NEW SERVICE - FROM APRIL 11 - MONDAYS ONLY - SB03 - Dobbs Weir to Epping High Street and Epping Hospital. Leaves Hyde Mead, Nazeing, 9.30am and arrives at Epping Tesco, via Dobbs Weir, at 10.10am before going to St Margaret's Hospital.

FROM APRIL 12 - TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS AND SATURDAYS ONLY - 347 Hatfield Broad Oak to Harlow via Hatfield Heath, Sheering, Lower Sheering, Sawbridgeworth and High Wych. Leaves Hatfield Broad Oak at 9.14am, 10.45am and 1.14pm with return journeys leaving Harlow Bus Station at 10am, 12.30pm and 2pm.

FROM APRIL 13 - WEDNESDAYS ONLY - SB01 Dobbs Weir to Hoddesdon - Leaves Avenue Road, Dobbs Weir at 10.30am and arrives at Hoddesdon Sainsbury's at 11am. The return service leaves Sainsbury's at 1pm.

FROM ARRIL 15 - FRIDAYS ONLY - SB02 Dobbs Weir to Brookfield Centre via Nazeing. Leaves Avenue Road, Dobbs Weir at 10.30am and arrives at Brookfield Centre at 11.10am. The return service leaves Brookfield Centre at 1pm.

FROM APRIL 11 - MONDAYS ONLY - SB07 The Elms, High Beach to Epping High Street via Loughton. Leaves The Elms 11am and arrives at St Margaret's Hospital, Epping, via Forest Road and Traps Hill, Loughton, at 11.35am.
