Hello, April...

It's hard to believe that spring is already here!  Before we know it, we'll be enjoying the hot, dry weather that is summer in North Texas.  I hope you are getting out and enjoying this lovely season with the longer days, the bursts of color and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets!

It seems to get more difficult to attend classes regularly this time of year, but don't short-change yourself of the many benefits of your group class yoga practice.There's an energy to a group class; a group class helps you build discipline into your life and your practice by setting aside specific times each week; you find community, inspiration and quite often laughter!  I tell myself that my home practice suffices, but really it doesn't...I do the things I like, when and if I feel like doing them!   Don't miss out...there's a full schedule of classes to help you maintain a regular practice.

Yin Class

BJ is looking forward to seeing everyone on the 3rd Friday of each month for a floor based, gentle practice with long-held, supported stretches designed to release tension deep within the muscles and connective tissues.

Friday, April 15th
6:00pm - 7:00pm
Movement & Sound Immersion
Come and experience guided movement sequences including floor work, supine, prone and eventually standing work which will include some asana. Kenny will create a textured, and dynamic sound score to provide support & energy for free movement expression and a deep dive inward. 

You don’t want to miss this! The movement portion of the workshop will be approximately 2 hours long. For the remaining 30 minutes, you will then bathe in the powerful and soothing vibrations of the gong, and the resonance of the movement meditation.

Please be sure to join Julie Tijerina for a basic mediation class on the first Friday of each month.  Learn about meditation, learn how to meditate, deepen your personal meditation practice.
