We are holding a Cuddle party to welcome people from out of town to attend the
CHPC weekend intensive and to celebrate our community. Jennifer McCann will
be facilitating the snuggle for us. Please bring a poem to share and wear snuggly
clothes or pajamas. No perfumes or colognes please. Snack potluck.

Designed specifically for the 22 people who are currently enrolled in the Cascadia Holistic Peer Counseling 2016 class, this course is also available to those who have completed the course in the last 3 years. The weekend is valued at $150 and if you are CHPC graduate looking for new counseling trades or wanting to brush up on your peer counseling skills, this is a good fit. We will be covering the course materials for active counseling given in classes 7-10, which includes all the theory and ecosomatics exercises for: Balance of Attention, accessing inner intuition, working with personas, Feeding Your Demons practice, Dramatization, dealing with chronic patterns and addictions as well as work and play. http://wp.me/P2pBpk-Gd

Botany of the Dead with Marcus McCoy

The botany of the dead will be a hands on workshop in the preparation of botanicals used in banishing, exorcism, cleansing, and summoning of spirits of the dead. Incenses, powders, and washes etc, will be prepared and their various uses discussed. This class is for novices as well as seasoned practitioners of shamanry, mediumship, sciomancy, and witchcraft, healers, and home cleansers... The class is oriented to the many various ways in which plants are worked with cross culturally between traditions in having effect upon the spirits of the dead. Each participant will leave with botanical products they have prepared or will prepare at home or in their local graveyard etc...
This class is taught by Marcus McCoy, who has been working in the realm of spiritism for over 20 years, and has been actively working performing house clearings, and cleansings as a folk magic practitioner with extremely dangerous and challenging cases. Our featured performer Katessa Harkey is a life-long activist, polyamorist and social critic. Katessa performs her Storytelling magic through the mediums of music and motion! The marvelous Mr. Houdini, dancing snake extraordinaire, will be on hand to accept your adulation. Reverend Madeline B. Adams will rock your world and put the spring in your April with the force of her poetic imagination. Bring your drums, rattles and other percussion instruments because we will finish the evening by having Matthew Stanbro focalize our song, chant and music making. Spiral Cult Circus Refreshments will be available, first drink is free with entrance fee, others are $5 each. Snacks are potluck, so bring some!
