Our graduate Intern Hawo stated after her internship: "I learned a lot of new things during the internship; I improved my conversation skills and how to communicate people with people from different backgrounds. I learned some computer skills; about DropBox and I participated in many other activities.
The internship is very useful because it teaches you how you can reach your goals and your future.  It teaches young people how to be independent and strong people.

From my experience during the internship, I can now apply for jobs, I can  write a resume and I can do plans for my future, I do presentations with confident and I have so many new skills with me, that can help me in the future."

Hawo sucessfully completed her internship in December 2015.
ABOUT MVI

The Moonee Valley Internships project (MVI) offers internship opportunities to marginalised young people to gain additional skills and support to enter the competitive job market. The project by MMVLLEN is a response to the increasing youth unemployment rate in our region. As an organisation we believe it is important to invest into our young people's futures. The project goes hand in hand with our range of projects where we directly engage with industry and business partners, schools and training organisations as well as with the community in order to support young people with their successful transition to education and employment.
