Applications for the AMSA Global Health 3-day training workshop, Training New Trainers, is now open! TNT is perfect for medical students at all levels who are keen to gain skills to enact change in global health. Getting back to basics

Swedish global health group the Karolinska Institutet launches the FREE online course “An Introduction to Global Health” on March 31 through edX. Lasting 6 weeks, you will cover foundational global health topics and feel equipped to understand today’s key global health challenges and possible solutions.

Getting some new iDEAs

Doctors for the Environment Australia present their 2016 iDEA Conference, 15-17 April in Brisbane, for medical professionals and students who care about their future and that of their patients. A conference tackling the far-reaching implications of climate change. A conference to start a conversation.

Getting comfortable with transgender health

The Australian National University global health group, EnSIGN, will be holding an educational event on Transgender Health on 13 April in Canberra. There will be three transgender and intersex people speaking on their experiences of health care. Students will facilitate workshops around this theme, and attendees will develop their own projects to improve transgender health and wellbeing.
