Literacy Nova Scotia hosted a Family Literacy Book Packing and Delivery event on Saturday, January 9, 2016. LNS received a donation of approximately $20,000 worth of books for children and families from First Book Canada.

Marcia Jeffers is an adult learner giving back to others through the healthcare industry as a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA).
Marcia’s learning accomplishment was recognized by Literacy Nova Scotia when she was chosen as an Adult Learners’ Week Contest winner in 2009.
