Tähtiloistoa Gaala-näytöksessä
Balettikilpailun Gaalassa 2.6. esiintyvät kilpailussa parhaiten menestyneimmät tanssijat. Vierailevina tähtinä ovat mukana vuoden 2005 seniorisarjan voittaja upea Iana Salenko sekä hänen partnerinsa Marian Walter, joka sijoittui samana vuonna kolmanneksi seniorimiesten sarjassa. Lisäksi Gaalassa esiintyy Pariisin oopperan baletissa solistina tanssiva suomalainen Ida Viikinkoski.
Guest stars in the Gala Performance
The most successful dancers will perform in the Gala, which takes place on June 2nd. We are happy to announce that the exquisite Iana Salenko, winner of Helsinki IBC 2005, will perform in the Gala together with her partner Marian Walter, placing 3rd the same year. Additionally we will have the bright new Finnish star Ida Viikinkoski, who is currently sujet at the Paris Opera Ballet.

Jos et pääse katsomaan kisoja paikanpäälle Helsinkiin, voit virittäytyä tunnelmaan mukavasti Finnkinon elokuvateattereissa! Suorina lähetyksinä isolta valkokankaalta nähdään kilpailun Gaala-näytös 2.6. Liput tulevat myyntiin 8.4. Finnkinon verkkosivuilla ja elokuvateattereissa. Watch the Ballet Competition at the Finnkino cinemas
If you simply can not make it to Helsinki, you may enjoy the ballet competition in the comfort of Finnkino cinemas around Finland! Finnkino will screen a live stream of the Gala performance on June 2nd. The ticket sale starts on April 8th at the Finnkino cinemas and online. The streaming cooperation concerns the cinemas in the following cities: Turku Kinopalatsi, Tampere Plvena, Oulu Plaza, Lappeenranta Strand, Jyväskylä Fantasia and Espoo Sello.

Juontajamme, olkaa hyvät!
Balettikilpailun juontajisto on varmistunut. Alku- ja välierät juontaa Kansallisbaletin oma kasvatti Teemu Tainio. Finaalit tarjoilee YLE:n Urheiluruudusta tuttu Jere Nurminen. Kilpailun huipentuman, Gaalan, juontaa aiempien vuosien tapaan tähtitanssija-koreografi Minna Tervamäki ja professori Jorma Uotinen.
May we present our Hosts!
The hosts of the Ballet Competition evenings are nominated. Qualifying and semi-final rounds will be hosted by Teemu Tainio, from the Finnish National Opera and Ballet. Jere Nurminen, who is a familiar face from Yle, the Finnish Broadcasting Television, will lead us through the Finals. The audience favourites, Étoile dancer-choreographer Minna Tervamäki and Professor Jorma Uotinen are the hosts of the high point of the competition, the Gala performance and Awards ceremony.
