LEP welcomes new Growth Deals round

The Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has welcomed the Government’s announcement that it will agree a further round of Growth Deals with LEPs.

More funding for the Local Growth Fund was confirmed in the Budget, and now the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government has announced that £1.8bn will be allocated to LEPs through a competitive process starting immediately. More>

Humber showcased at UK-China summit

Communities Secretary Greg Clark welcomed a senior delegation of Chinese regional leaders to an historic summit to highlight investment opportunities across the Northern Powerhouse and promote stronger UK-China regional collaboration.

The Humber was showcased at the UK-China Regional Leaders Summit in Sheffield on Wednesday 23 March with representations made by Humber LEP Chief Executive Kishor Tailor and Leader of East Riding of Yorkshire Council Stephen Parnaby OBE. More>
