In Focus:
Wishing you a blessed and holy Easter.
Dear Friend for Life
Thank you for your prayers and support for the 40 Days for Life vigils in Auckland, Wellington and in Christchurch! It has been the most grace-filled time and I am certain that God has been working many miracles!
Throughout the world 490 babies were saved over this Lenten vigil, and 4 abortion facilities closed their doors! Thanks be to God for the amazing graces received! Thanks to you for your dedication and humility.
In Wellington one vigil participant relayed how the sign which depicts a 13 week pre-born child may have saved not just one, but two mothers and their babies from abortion. She writes:
"...a young woman approached us and began speaking. She was so excited to see our picture and proudly opened her folder to show us the scan taken that very day. Her baby was 12 weeks and she couldn't get over the similarity with the one on our sign. She had been told her baby resembled a "pea" at this stage of pregnancy and she was therefore toying with the idea of abortion mainly to please her parents. We were able to give her information and contacts for the support available and also a 12-week baby model. It seemed as if God had us there with that particular picture to confirm her decision. She explained she was going to share the materials and baby model with a friend who was also pregnant but abortion-minded. We gave her another set of materials for her friend and urged her to get her to call our Option Line."
The final hour in Auckland was extremely well attended with about 400 people coming to pray outside AMAC in a beautiful candlelight vigil! A memorial of 931 white crosses, all individually numbered, were laid in baskets outside the door of AMAC. We also left one of our signs urging the staff to look up Abby Johnson's ministry And Then There Were None, which helps staff move out of the abortion industry.
Yesterday morning, the usual Wednesday morning vigil resumed and the AMAC staff delivered three black rubbish sacks filled with the white crosses, the cut up sign and other items left as part of the memorial. An attached note said "Your rubbish & litter you dispose of it. Deliver it again & you will be getting a visit from the police." Interestingly the staff were happy to keep the baskets which held everything apart from the sign. The black rubbish bags filled with the white crosses just confirm their attitude about the little ones that they abort - that they are rubbish and easily thrown away.
Please pray for the staff at AMAC, the Te Mahoe clinic and those at Christchurch Hospital. Their consciences have been prodded over the vigil. We care for their souls too.
Together we can end abortion!
I pray you and your family have a blessed and Holy Easter season.
