God is using EFM in Egypt

“We praise God for His great blessings for the pastors’ conference we had from March 7 -11, 2016. Forty three pastors attended the conference this year. Three new pastors (pictured below) have joined the conference and soon they will be ordained.

We heard good reports from the pastors which encouraged us. New members have joined the churches and many people accepted their salvation. Praise God. Because we had a long agenda for the conference, we stayed four nights at Prayer Mountain.” - Report from the Director of Faith Bible College in Egypt

Prayer Mountain is a special retreat center that our church in Egypt has established especially for prayer groups, youth groups, and pastors’ conferences.  They have hosted youth groups from Sudan.

Discipleship in action: "This photo above represents one of my favorite things about what's happening in Egypt. The man on the left is a successful pastor named Elijah. The man and woman on the right were saved in Pastor Elijah's church, mentored and discipled and married -- and now Pastor Elijah is their mentor and supervisor as they plant a new church across the Nile River from their old home church."   - EFM President Steve Hight
This multi-story church was built in the few years since the so-called Arab Spring ended in 2012.  An average of 140 people attend services here and they host up to 300 visitors for revival meetings and other special events.
The man in the checked shirt is the pastor of the church that fills the right side of the picture.
