Almost Here!

Later today, Thursday, Brian Lee will be taking the packet of papers and passport you see above to the Taiwan Office in New York to finish his Visa application so he can come to Taiwan and start his internship with us.
I want to ask you to pray that everything would go smoothly and he would be able to move forward with our plans to bring him over in the next 2-3 weeks.
In addition, would you pray for Brian regarding these specific things:
His departure has come about rather suddenly since we didn't really know when all the paperwork would be approved. Most of us who move overseas, my family included, although we knew what we were doing, don't fully appreciate the scope and depth of what we are leaving. And it happens literally overnight. It will be a very traumatic experience for him both emotionally and spiritually. I don't doubt he will be just fine and God will use it to bring about great good in his life, but it doesn't lessen the shock.
Pray for the people God is preparing for Brian to meet when he gets here. His previous connections from last summer and the new ones God has planned.
You will get to hear from Brian personally after he arrives and experience his time here firsthand in some upcoming newsletters, but for now, he needs your intercession.

In Crista's class this week, her kids were trying to figure out why we had Easter eggs. Some of the kids thought it was because Jesus liked to eat eggs. Because of your faithful support, they now know the truth. Easter is about Jesus death, burial and resurrection. We hope you have a great weekend remembering all that Jesus has done for us.
